ID #1069

I get "No permission to login from address..." error message when testing Source Packages.

This is a situation that appears when a user logs in an admin console to test Source Packages from a certain application, but his/her IP is not allowed into that application. In these cases, the admin console presents the user a message like below:

No permission to login from address: .......
Unable to log on to 127.0.0.1, on port 2504.

This the behavior is by design - only users that come from allowed (into application X) IPs are allowed to search/test Source Packages (of application X) using the admin consoles.

The solution is to set the IPs that are used for administration in the list of allowed IPs of the applications.
