EduLib makes available Muse Platform

EduLib, the builder of Muse® since its conception in 1998, makes available The Muse Platform from its site.

After more than 14 years of continuous development, and in use by around eight thousands of customers, The Muse® Platform is today’s most powerful platform for federated search, harvesting, enriching, processing and integrating content to power an amazing array of products and services that give people the information that they need in whatever context they need it and in whatever formats their computers and mobile devices support.

The two major Muse Platform components, Muse Federated Search and Muse Harvesting are the best technology for the user, and are part of the EduLib’s new Education and Library Information Discovery suite.

Muse® Federated Search is known as best of multiple target searching and content normalization to a single data model. The ability to access the authenticated objects found from search of a single click, makes the life easy for the users using it. The deep level of extraction, the high scalability and the Smart Connector it uses, makes it a high level product.

Muse® Harvesting, is based on different types of controlled extraction, such as search, date or feed based. Aggregated from any number of sources, records are gathered by feed or query either timed or as an ‘on demand’ operation. It features a consistent delivery record format, enhanced, ‘virtual’ records, all delivered by file or feed.

A lot more information regarding its features and fixes, as well as other changes and additions made in Muse® are available for download in Muse® Release Notes PDF Document.
