Why I'm not able to log in using Personal Login feature or the sources status is not shown in the admin interface?

This may indicate an XMLDB corruption inside Muse.

If using Muse HTTP server, please look in the logs (available under $MUSE_HOME/http/logs/) and see if there are entries indicating "database is not running." These errors will confirm the XMLDB corruption.

The solution in such a case it to run the backup/restore procedure for XMLDB. Please see the dedicated FAQ or contact Technical Support for further assistance.
